Audience Systems worked with contractors Morgan Sindall and architects BDP to create a smart multipurpose space at the new Prestwick Educational Campus. The campus brings two existing primary schools together with a new nursery, allowing all pupils to enjoy up-to-date facilities – including this sports hall.

The power operated retractable seating unit closes back at the touch of a button into a specailly built recess, a neat solution for keeping the closed unit right out of the way. Chairs and rails fold down and stay on the unit when closed, so nothing gets lost. Stairs are finished with chunky “glow in the dark” nosing.

The chairs used are our Accolade model – our best-seller for schools projects. Comfortable and durable, it features wrap-around plastic panels which significantly prolong the life of the upholstery, meaning the seating will look great for years to come.
